This Friday, May 21 is Bike to Work Day.  If you are not accustomed to riding your bike, this is a great day to give it a try.  There are places to stop all over town where you can pick up snacks, win prizes and get lots of friendly encouragement.  We will be out with the people at UCSD’s Commute Solutions providing technical support for all the cyclists that ride in to work.  If you need a little chain lube or some air in your tires, just stop by.  For a complete list of BTWD2010 pit stops check out the new icommutesd web site.  This is the link to the pit stops: The UCSD pit stop is located at the corner of Villa La Jolla Drive and Gilman Drive next to the giant parking structure.  Get out there and have a great ride to work!

Most spectacularly, we switched locations with General Store. In typical Bike Shop fashion, we moved in a day with very little warning. Fortunately the space is nearly twice the size so it made the move a little easier than last time. An extra special thank you to all the volunteers that helped with that, especially to the cycling and triathlon team members who put in a long and difficult day.
